Passport. What you need to know about it - Service
Description of the Service
Do I need an international passport?
Yes, if your purpose is to travel to another country. For visiting certain countries a visa is also an obligatory document, which allows you to stay for the period of time specified by the legislation. When obtaining a visa, this is stamped in the international passport, which makes the passage of the passport control without hindrance.
Some international airports are equipped with special turnstiles ("electronic gates"). You can enter the gate by putting the first page of your passport to the scanning window. This greatly simplifies the process of passport control.
In certain situations, to make a passport for traveling abroad, you may need a passport PSD template. This is a special template (layout) containing certain information. In addition to checkpoints, a passport may be needed during registration of hotel accommodation, application for employment, during registration for school abroad, and in many other cases.
What is it
A foreign passport is a booklet of a set pattern, made on special paper containing protection, with a certain number of numbered pages (for visas, and for special marks). Each passport has its own series (written in Latin letters) and number. It is mandatory that each passport contains the following information:
- photo;
- personal data;
- date and place of birth;
- citizenship;
- gender;
- date of issue and expiration of the document.
Two types of passports are considered valid in the world - ordinary (non-biometric) and biometric. There are differences between them.
What are the differences between a biometric passport and an ordinary one
A biometric passport differs from an ordinary passport in that it has an electronic chip embedded inside its cover. There is a note to that effect on the cover of the document.
Electronic media contains information about the passport holder (it is duplicated), digitized photo, signature and fingerprints (index finger). The presence of all these elements helps simplify the process of identification of citizens of different countries when going abroad.
Biometric or regular passport - which is better
In many countries, both ordinary and biometric passports are valid and not expired. However, it is recommended to have a biometric passport, as the document is more advanced and has more effective protection.
Due to this, the maximum preservation of personal data is ensured, and the owners can be sure that they will not be lost if suddenly there is any turmoil and paperwork.
Another decisive factor in favor of a biometric passport is the facilitation of border control due to the minimum amount of time required for entering information into the database.
If you compare a biometric passport and a regular one, the new passport has a more extensive functionality. What is the advantage? There is no need for a visa for travelling to Schengen countries with a biometric document. That is, you can stay in one of the Schengen countries for a longer period of time without a visa. And when using an ordinary passport to travel abroad, obtaining a tourist visa is a prerequisite.
Registration procedure
Most countries allow you to apply for a passport using an online service. But this will not be complete paperwork. After all, the applicant must personally appear at the migration service to be photographed and have their fingerprints scanned.
Production of passports is made by each individual state in the period prescribed by law. Most often it is a period of one month from the date of filing documents in the normal procedure, and up to 7 working days from the date of filing documents in the emergency procedure. The amount of the state duty will generally vary, depending on the urgency of production.
As soon as the validity of any type of foreign passport expires, the document will need to be replaced. The procedure is the same as the original paperwork.
PSD template for passport
PSD template means a layout created in PSD format. This is the source material with the predefined data contained in it. In other words, it is a file in PSD format whose layers are edited using the Adobe Photoshop program. By editing is meant:
- use of images, necessary fonts, holograms;
- changing textual information.
