Activities: Advanced Plastic Industries (API) was founded in 1994, amidst the mountains of Lebanon, as a prime manufacturer of high quality plastic pipes and fittings solutions for the construction industry.
API was built with a mission and a commitment to offer products of superior quality, through constant innovation, whilst focusing on client satisfaction. This collective goal unites the organization under one objective: creating an exceptional pipe system that is high in performance, reliable and durable, faster and easier to install, hygienic for drinking water and considers the environment.
In effort to maintain their reputable market position, API's teams of experts continuously research and develop innovative production processes and quality control methods to ensure a world-class product. All its pipes and fittings are developed and manufactured using its contemporary in-house tool and die workshop and laboratory. They are produced in standard diameters and sizes, and are manufactured by cutting-edge extrusion and injection technologies.
API's topnotch piping system is developed and manufactured within an ISO 9001 quality assurance system and complies with the most recent and relevant international standards (namely the European Standard - EN and the German Standard - DIN) for matters of product specifications, quality control, employee welfare and environmental protection. Its claim to quality is supported by various renowned certifications that allow for both, local and global recognition and approval. They are proud holders of the German SKZ, DVGW and KTW certificates, to name a few. Accordingly, all pipes and fittings are tested for quality and performance in API's contemporary in-house laboratory before reaching the marketplace.
API's products range from PP-RCT pipes & fittings, HDPE pipes, PP-B pipes & fittings for drainage and PP-mineral reinforced pipes & fittings for silent drainage applications.
API is acknowledged as one of the major players and trendsetters in the pipe business, and has achieved multiple milestones along the way. They are amongst the first companies to adopt PP-RCT globally, and were the first company to acquire the SKZ mark and DVGW approval on PP-RCT products. Moreover, in accordance with the EN and ISO standards and due to their superior PP-RCT raw material, API holds the only approved product for heating installations to date.
API remains on par with developments in the global construction industry and expands to bridge all gaps in piping requirements for the building sector. Today, it has a broad network of trusted partners around the world and is continuously seeking to expand its leadership to additional export markets.
