Presentation - Logitech

Logitech Ltd is a world leader in materials processing, shaping and surface finishing technology. We design and manufacture high precision cutting, lapping and polishing systems which enable high specification surface finishes to be prepared with precise geometric accuracy. Logitech systems allow you to achieve highly uniform & parallel material flatness to within 1-2 microns specifications.
Whatever your needs, there is a Logitech high precision cutting, lapping, polishing or chemical mechanical polishing (cmp) solution for your application.

Applications

Logitech Systems are used in a variety of processes within the semiconductor, geological & photonics industries. Typical applications include:
-
Semiconductor materials processing & silicon preparation
-Opto-electronics polishing
-Fibre optics & fibre array polishing
-Geological thin section polishing
-Planarization & delayering of surface layers
-MEMS device processing
-GaAs & sapphire wafer backthinning

Materials
Logitech Systems can polish materials such as:
Silicon, Lithium Niobate, Sapphire, Lithium Tantalate, Potassium Titanyl Phosphate & Beta Barium Borate, Cadmium Telluride, Cadmium Zinc Telluride, Gallium Arsenide (GaAs, Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Indium Phosphide (InP), Silicon Carbide (SiC) and many more..............
Products
Flagship products include:
-The LP50 and PM5 benchtop lapping and polishing systems, ideal for research & development.
-The DL1/DL4 and DP1/DP4 for driven head lapping and polishing systems for production scale throughput.
-The Tribo & Orbis systems for Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) delayering & planarization.

We also manufacture a range of Bonders, Saws & Test & Measurement equipment.
However, Logitech does not only develop & manufacture equipment, we aim to provide materials processing solutions tailored to customer specifications. Our system packages also include technology transfer, in depth training and expert after sales support.

Research & Development
Logitech was founded in 1965 as a spin off from research into advanced semiconductor materials processing at Glasgow University. This background in academia continues to influence the company.s ongoing strategy today. Logitech continues to play a key partnership role in many university research projects & operates an active & continuous policy of new product development and materials process development.
We also have distributors in France, Germany, China, Korea, Japan,India, Brazil & Taiwan
